Blackburn Centurion At A Glance

Blackburn Amateur Swimming Club was binary market trading founded in 1878. At the Centenary, the club name was changed to its current name Blackburn Centurions Amateur Swimming Club.

The Club was founded to provide instruction in the art of Swimming and Water Polo, which have seen many successes over the years to International level at both disciplines. The aim of the Club is to provide the instruction and facilities for each child to reach their full potential, whether at School Gala, Local Club, Age Group, National or International level. All teaching and coaching for both Swimming and Water Polo is provided by voluntary qualified instructors and Discovery Learning accredited personal fitness trainers, who offer their time for the benefit of the children and Club as a whole. Administrative duties, organization of Galas and other vital functions binary trade of the Club are executed by voluntary Committee members.

A Lancashire First For Blackburn Centurions

In conjunction with Blackburn & Darwen Swim Scheme (AQUABEES), Blackburn Centurions ASC will be hosting the first of an ongoing programme of Swimming Festivals. These events are designed to encourage more children to take up competitive swimming and water polo.

Blackburn, Preston & Blackpool are the only three Swimming Clubs to have been selected by Lancashire Sport to host these Festivals. Lancashire Sport selected Blackburn Centurions as it is registered with The Active Sport Programme and to Swim 21, the ASA’s kite mark awarded for high standards of Swimmer, Teacher / Coach and Club development, and other high reaching criteria.
Children from local schools and the Aquabees Swim Scheme will be invited to take part in this first for the North West Swimming Festival to be held at Daisyfield Pool, Saturday 23rd February between binary options strategy iq option 5-00 and 7-00pm.
